Avocado/Butter fruit is so nutritious in every single way but it has absolutely no taste. I just hated the fruit when I had it raw. Few of my friends suggested to blend with sugar or ice cream or make milk shakes. But I went ahead and made some smoothie. The smoothie is almost thick and hence you can prefer it for babies from 6 months. Skip milk and water for babies less 1 year. Add a sweet banana instead of palm sugar for babies less than one year.   • Butter fruit-1
  • Palm Sugar-2 tbsp
  • Milk-3 tbsp

Butterfruit smoothie


1.Wash and cut the fruit into two halves.

2.Scoop out the seed and separate the fleshy part.

3.Add palm sugar,milk/water and the scooped fruit to a blender and give a quick run.

4.Serve it preferably chilled(for elders).
